Here at Elephant & Castle Child Care Centre, we have a good understanding of children's lives and their social contexts, basing our teaching around them. As practitioners we consider the individual needs, interests and stage of development of each child in our care, and use this information to plan a challenging and enjoyable experience in all areas of learning and development.

We believe that children benefit most from being in a day care setting, where parents/carers and staff work together in partnership.

This is why we encourage a culture of cooperation, continuous exchange between parent and practitioner and a shared knowledge of their child's interests and needs.
