Elephant & Castle Child Care Centre is a rural setting that has educational professionals who are wholeheartedly committed to comprehensive child care. We recognise that all parents want the best for their children, right from their very first learning experiences. Every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfil their potential. At the Elephant & Castle, we provide a secure, safe and happy environment that promotes children's learning and development through child initiated and adult led activities. 

Our child care centre achieves these objectives by providing a provision, which offers individual educational and development planning. We have a successful room layout, incorporating all areas of child development, through various resources.

Our setting is committed to providing equality of opportunity and anti-discriminatory practice for all children, families and employees.

Each team member, is working alongside the Key Person Approach to help ensure that every child's care is tailored to meet their individual needs. The approach supports the child in becoming familiar with the setting and offers a settled relationship and ensures parent partnership.

The Elephant & Castle takes all necessary steps to keep children safe and well. We implement policies and procedures to safeguard children, these are in line with the guidance from the relevant Local Safeguarding Children Board.
